  • Have fun making your own monster mug!! Get creative designing a great monster, add horns, maybe 3 eyes, have a tail handle, some fur? Its your mug, you decide! :) You will also make a small  candy dish on the wheel.

  • **This workshop is for those students that have taken Soapmaking 101 **And have taken additional Advanced Soapmaking classes previously (or have previous and are comfortable with cold process soap-making) This workshop for those Advanced Students who want to increase their Colour and Design soapmaking skills using the Hanger Swirl technique. In this workshop we will use layering techniques, adding a pencil line and a custom-coloured swirl layer. We will be using pretty colours and fragrances to compliment each design. Students will combine all the raw ingredients themselves and customize your soap. All supplies including a detailed handout containing all the information discussed during the class with recipes and instructions are included and you will go home with over 2 lbs of all-natural handmade soap equivalent to 14 bars! **Participants must have legs covered and closed toed shoes. **Safety glasses, gloves and aprons will be provided. **Please note: Full payment for this workshop is required upon registration. **There are NO REFUNDS for this particular workshop.

    Camp starts at 9am-4pm (unless specified otherwise due to field trip). Most camps ages 5 to 15 unless specified. Camp sizes are 15 per group; we have 2 groups with 1 teacher & 1 volunteer per group. You can sign up for Before-Care from 8-9am, or After-Care from 4-5pm any day of the week. Kids will spend time outside every day. Wednesdays are our field trip. Field trips are an option, if you choose not to be part of the field trip, you are responsible to find an alternative care for your child. All our teachers and volunteers will go to our field trip. On Fridays, we spend our lunch at Memorial Park. Please bring a swimsuit & towel for the splash pad. Please bring a nut free lunch, 2 snacks, water, hat and sunscreen – **This is an electronic free camp:  please leave all devices at home. You can reach us anytime throughout the day at 905 220 8374 if needed. * We are happy to include all the kids, though we ask if you have a Special Needs child to provide a helper to come each day to the camp, as our teachers are not trained for special needs. We have small groups, 15 kids max but we need our teachers and volunteers available for all the kids. *Please let us know if your child has any medical conditions and how we can help. *Note: field trip cost varies. Costs include transportation via chartered school bus, & entrance to the venue. – CAMP WEEKS: Week 1:  July 02-05  – Happy Summer! Field Trip= $33 Kelso Our first week of our summer camp is all about sunshine & good time! We will remember all our happy summer memories to inspire creativity! Field Trip is Kelso Conservation Area! Get ready for a hike, swim in the lake & ice cream! Bus leaves 9am, pick up 4pm – Week 2: July 8-12 – Pirates! Field trip = $47 Pirate Play at Bay Front Park in Hamilton Our pirate week is filled with adventure and imagination! We will go back in time & become pirates for a week to get inspired by their ships, history, & lives to make beautiful artwork. Field Trip will be to watch a pirate play inside a pirate ship at the Bay Front Park in Hamilton! Bus leaves 9am, pickup 4pm – Week 3: July 15-19 – Outdoor Adventure Field trip: $50 Tree-Top Trekking at Binbrook conservation area This is our outdoor explore week! Get inspired by the great outdoors to inspire our creativity! Field Trip will be Tree-Top Trekking at Binbrook Conservation Area. Don’t forget to bring a swimsuit & a towel! Bus leaves 9am, pickup 4pm – Week 4:  July 22-26 – The Secret Garden Field trip: $50 Shaw festival in Niagara on the lake to watch a play: ‘The Secret Garden’ https://www.shawfest.com/playbill/the-secret-garden/ *Age 7+ This is a week of pure imagination! We will dive into a fantasy world of talking plants, animals, and mythical beings that will inspire us to create beautiful art! Field Trip will be to see ‘The Secret Garden’ play at Niagara on the lake. Bus leaves 9am. Pick up time is 5:30 Week 5: July 29-Aug 2 – Fun Splash, Ocean Week Field trip – $40 FunSplash Sports Park *Ages 6+ Let’s beat the summer heat with ocean and underwater creations! Explore creatures, sunken treasure, mythical stories and tropical sea colors. Field Trip will be to FunSplash Sports Park where you can splash, climb, jump, swing, bounce, & slide while making the best summer memories with your family & friends! – Week 6: Aug 6-9 – Sunshine and Water! Field trip: $33 Kelso Conservation Area Take a trip to South America! Get inspired by the landscape, ocean, rainforest, colours, music, food, & amazing culture! We are going to Kelso Park for our field trip to enjoy the sunshine and water! Don’t forget your swimsuit and hiking shoes! – Week 7: Aug 12-16 – Pioneer Times! Field trip: $33 Westfield Heritage Village Travel back to a rich and adventurous time in Canadian History, with stories, inventions, artists, fashion, political strife and social changes! Let’s imagine the times of the Pioneers and First Nations as inspiration to create! Field Trip will be a trip to Westfield Heritage Village, a local living history museum and conservation area with restored historical buildings, woodlands, meadows, and trails. – Week 8: Aug 19 – 23 – Lets go to the Safari!! Field trip: $48 African lion Safari Our Safari week will explore African arts and animals! Learn how to draw your favourite animal! And let your imagination go building 3D African models with animals, water, trees… Field Trip will be to African Lion Safari. We will enjoy a safari tour bus, & enjoy getting wet at the splash pad. Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel! – Week 9: Aug 26-30 – Design & Build! Field trip – $33 Kelso conservation area This week we will explore different techniques and approaches to art making. We will look at different artists & techniques to inspire, exploring abstract art, cubism, realism, colour, volume, symmetry, aesthetics, sculptures and more. We close our summer with one last swim in the lake! Our field trip is at Kelso park, please bring hiking shoes and swimsuits!
  • Our weekend workshops are an introduction to basic throwing skills. Come spend two hours learning the basics in our bright and relaxing studio. This is a great way to try pottery before you sign up for our term class. You can pay as you go.  Beginners and more advanced are welcome, experienced potters will get the opportunity to further develop their skills. 3 of your best items will be decorated and painted on the same day, we will glaze and fire the work for you. Please arrive on time, the teacher will start the demo as scheduled. Please wear comfortable clothes. 2-hour class, available on two time slots every Saturday: • 1-3pm • 4-6pm The work will be ready in 3-4 weeks, you will receive an email when the work is ready, you will have 30 days to collect your final piece. must be 16 or older To arrange a pottery wheel workshop for ages 12 to 15 years old, please contact the studio!
  • Learn the fundamentals of Traditional Soap Making in this hands-on workshop, where you will learn the techniques, ingredients and equipment needed to make your own sudsy bars. We will touch on some “fun science” (the backbone of soap making), the differences in ingredients, soap making methods and techniques to then create your own custom bars equaling over 2 lbs or 14 bars. Participants will mix, customize and mold your own bars to take home. All supplies including a detailed handout containing all the information discussed during the class with recipes and instructions. A bonus suppliers list is also included. Students will add scent to their soap with fragrance oils provided. If they wish to use Essential oils they are welcome to bring their own to add in. **Please note; Full payment for this workshop is required upon registration.   • This course will introduce students to learn sketching practice to develop illustrations. Sketchbooks are where skills are strengthened, ideas are recorded, and designs are developed. Artists will learn to experiment and keep the horizon open to find visual language. Using various materials and tools, students will explore sketchbooks practising and experimenting with skills to keep them motivated, creative, and inspired throughout their artistic journey.   • Materials: sketchbooks, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, coloured pencils, watercolour paper, paint brushes, watercolours, black pens, markers, construction paper, oil pastel, chalk pastel, canvases or canvas paper, acrylic paint, paint palettes, paint brushes, rulers. Description: This beginner/intermediate class covers fundamental fine art skills. Students will learn to draw and paint still-life, portraits, landscapes, and subjects of their own choosing. This course will dive into both realistic and abstract art in a variety of styles, referencing great artists and movements such as surrealism, cubism, pop art, impressionism, and more. Students will begin by practicing basic techniques, sketching, and observation skills regardless of previous experience. The instructor will then work with each student to choose a project that is both challenging and inspiring for their level of ability. No previous experience is expected. Runs Tuesdays – TOP FLOOR

Let us design a high-quality Creative workshop customized to fit your curriculum! Homeschooling?  click HERE:  HOMESCHOOL Our workshops are designed to work with the teacher to enhance any current themes or topics the kids are learning about to make it more fun. For instance, if they are learning about medieval times, we can create ceramic castles, or a shield/crest… we can make cultural connections (Aztec suns, Chinese Dragons, Native masks etc), create Egyptian Sarcophaguses, Pioneer Log Houses, etc etc. Any topic of learning can become creative, and it is in this state where real learning blossoms. Let us show you our magic! We also offer school Fiel trip to our Location, for the same price you can come to a real art studio make any of the projects you choose and spend some time on the potter’s wheel making a bowl! All workshops are $27/kid incl tax. Workshops are 2 hrs for all grades. All workshops include all materials, clay, glazes and 2 fires (including the Glaze fire). All work and sculptures will be made/build and painted on the same day. All work will be delivered back with a nice shine glaze 4 weeks after the workshop.   • Come further your drawing skills for making comics, graphic novels, animation, or just filling up your sketchbooks! Improve your anatomy, perspective, storyboarding, and so much more. Let’s have some fun drawing together. Students are welcome to bring digital drawing tech (ipads, computers, etc) to class if they like, but it is not required (paper/pencils provided).
