This course will introduce students to learn sketching practice to develop illustrations. Sketchbooks are where skills are strengthened, ideas are recorded, and designs are developed. Artists will learn to experiment and keep the horizon open to find visual language. Using various materials and tools, students will explore sketchbooks practising and experimenting with skills to keep them motivated, creative, and inspired throughout their artistic journey. Come further your drawing skills for making comics, graphic novels, animation, or just filling up your sketchbooks! Improve your anatomy, perspective, storyboarding, and so much more. Let’s have some fun drawing together. Students are welcome to bring digital drawing tech (ipads, computers, etc) to class if they like, but it is not required (paper/pencils provided).
